Miracle Blanket or Swaddle me ?

Which one would be better for a 18 pounder ?

Jasper was awake last night from 10:30 to 1 am getting out of his swaddle. He cannot fall back asleep un-swaddled...............

Off to BRU to buy something today, please recommend which one is better for bigger babies. Thanks for all the input the other day too Smile

Good morning! Evan didn't like to be swaddled, but the swaddle me kept him contained for a while. We'd usually find him with one or both arms out, but for the most part it worked

I've never used the miracle blanket, so I can't comment on that.

Definitely the Miracle Blanket for us! Maddie would wiggle her arms around in (or out of) the Swaddle Me pretty easily and then get upset. She loved the MB and I found it much easier to put on while half asleep in the middle of the night.

Unfortunately, I don't think BRU sells them. Maybe that has changed since Maddie's baby days, though.

I liked the Miracle Blanket the best!! Shoot- I wish I had known... I would've brought mine up to sell to you for cheap!! Any chance you wantto come down to the Bay Area on Monday? I am about to post about a gtg you would love to come to!

tyler loved the miracle blanket and paige hated it. both my kids are pretty long and didnt fit it past 2 months. also, i think the miracle blanket can be pretty unsafe when they are able to get their arms out it. we found paige at least 2 times with it wrapped around her face and neck and got rid of it asap. i dont know anything about the swaddle me - but have you heard of the woombie or something like that?

Eve was breaking out of the Swaddle Me by about 4.5 months. She was a 95th %er too, so I don't know if it would keep Jasper in. It will take a little bit of digging, but if you like, I can see if I can dig out Eve's Swaddle Me blankets tonight. You're more than welcome to use them and then return them when you're done.

both my kids are pretty long and didnt fit it past 2 months.

Maddie has always been really tall, so we just never used the foot pocket. We just let it lay underneath her and only used the wrap part.

If he's arching his back, then the Miracle Blanket won't be much help. Lena pulls out of hers nightly, but it helps her fall asleep. She's 17.5 lbs, and while it still fits her, the back arching ruins the entire locking system.
