My son is always on his tip toes, I know most babies do this at first but there is no sign of it stopping and to add to my worries is my 13 year old niece who still walks on her tip toes. Anyone esle having issues with this? any advice?
DD has been walking for over 2 months now, but JUST started walking on her tip toes last week - not sure why she's doing it, but i just plan on asking her pedi at her 15 month appointment if she's still doing it then......

DD has been walking since she was a year old and has recently started doing this too. Not all the time, and we try and correct her to "walk normal" when she's doing it. I thinks he just is realizing that she can balance on her tip toes. I think this might be a step closer to being able to jump? She'll get up on her tip toes and bounce up and down sometimes too.
Re: Tip toe walking
Yep. Mine still does it. We bought her some squeak me shoes so she'll learn to put her heels down. so far they seem to be helping.
