RE Appointments

I'm curious ... have you ever unexpectedly bumped into someone you knew during an RE appointment?  DH came with me this morning and said that while I was being seen a couple we knew walked in.

    Not yet, but as I sat at the completely crowded RE's office while holding the bag with "the goods" for the IUI was thinking I really hope no one I know walks in.  But then again, I wouldn't necessarily think it was a bad thing if it weren't for the whole holding the goods part (ha ha).  It would be nice to know some people IRL who are dealing with IF right now.

    not really. The woman who now runs the hospital lab was DHs partner years ago on a private ambulance co. She knew the b/w I was having done, who was ordering it, and was the one who ran DHs sample.

    I laughed hysterically when I told him it was Y who ran it.

    Kinda.. I know 2 people who go to my RE but have never seen them in that office when I was there.

    I haven't yet, but considering that I know about 10 people who go to the same RE, it wouldn't surprise me if I did.

    I am always worried about this when I sit in that waiting room for too long...I don't know why but I get nervous about seeing someone I know.  Especially because when I did my initial paperwork and they saw where I worked (big company) they said 'we get a lot of people from there in here'  it would be really awkward to run into someone from work at the RE office...
