OK, so last night in desperation I began sipping red raspberry leaf tea.
This morning I woke up to a huge leak of colostrum and a very active, clenching sensation in my uterus (not painful, just uncomfy).
I have never had any leakage from my boobs before. Could this possibly be a sign of something afoot? PLEASE? ![]()
Re: Is leaking colostrum a sign of anything?
Can be a positive sign that your boobs are ready to go to work...........BUT not a sign of impending labor. I've had significant colostrum leaks for over 4 weeks.
same here!
Early labor started for me yesterday morning (real contractions, timeable, etc.) on top of the intense contractions, I noticed that I had a good amount of leaking start right at the same time -- strange.
FYI, not to discourage, but early labor stopped for me when my contractions progressed to every 4 minutes apart -- and I was getting ready to head into L&D! They said that's pretty common for your first so I'm back to the waiting game!
And whether or not you leak while pg is no indication of your ability to breastfeed.
