I just watched the finale.....WTF????  I didn't get the aftershow recorded so I don't know the whole scoop.  But was the point of the last scene to show that the whole thing was staged?  I think everyone already knew how staged and scripted it was, but did they have to come out and just slap us with it?

    I watched the aftershow (because I'm a huge nerd) and Brody said something about how it's supposed to leave you guessing what was real and what was fake.  I thought the same thing that you did with that ending.

    i didn't watch it, but i did read an interview with lo and she said they did that to poke fun at all the rumors that it wasn't staged.

    I just watched the finale this morning.  Yeah, that was odd but I'm glad they were able to poke fun at themselves.  I'm going to miss The Hills.  At the end when they were showing the montages of each of the characters and for Kristin they showed her with Steven -- awww too cute, they were so little :)
