My new FB status...

For all those wanting to know how I am feeling.....
I am feeling 10 months pregnant, i.e. I am extremely uncomfortable, I am not sleeping and therefore exhausted, I have horrible heartburn, I am having constant hot flashes, I am anxious, and I am annoyed that I have been pregnant for longer then I was with TJ. So basically, I feel WONDERFUL!!

    If there were a bump "like" button as on FB, I'd like this.  Of course, I don't like that you (we) are feeling this way...

    But seriously, if we gave the honest answer to the next 100 people who ask us how we're feeling, maybe they'd stop asking everyday...

    Amen sister - and then I like when they say back (to me at least since I am not done cooking yet) "Oh well you still have a long ways to go!". What. The. F**k. Why in heaven's name would you say that to a nearly 8 month pregnant woman in the middle of the hottest summer maybe ever recorded (ok that last bit was a little dramatic ;))? I'm very aware that I am no where close to giving birth to this child but thanks for reminding me of that fact, a$$hat.

    Ha! We just had this conversation today!!

     My good friend at work is due one week behind me and she asked how I was doing this morning...I responded with, "Do you want what I am telling everyone else, or do you want the truth?"

     My responses are always...

    "Yes, it is hot, but that is ok because I like the heat....oh really?  Your wife was pregnant in the summer too and went THREE WEEKS past her due date?  She's a trooper!....Oh really? You have a friend whose baby was born 8 weeks premature and it was touch and go there for a while?  I am sorry to hear that....You lost ALL of your baby weight before you even left the hospital? Super.

     What I WANT to say...

    "Eff off!!"
