Whoever recommended almond milk... THANK YOU!

I had to get Silk Almond Milk. I bought the vanilla flavored. It's freakin' GOOD!  Thick, but it's like drinking a milkshake. I had to force myself to put it away and stop drinking. I never thought I'd like it. I tried Silk Soy and it was GROSS.

So thanks to whoever recommended the Almond Milk.  I tried to get the Almond Breeze or whatever by my store doesn't seem to carry that brand.

I think it'll be awesome in coffee too!

  • I love that stuff. Too bad I developed an almond allergy.

I don't know if this was already discussed, but I was a big fan of hemp milk for a while too. Very creamy.

  • Glad you like it- I actually just had a glass myself. I can have dairy again, but I think I'll probably still buy the occasional carton of almond milk b/c it is good stuff. :)
  • I KNOW!  Isn't it awesome???  I've been drinking it since ds was born.  He didn't seem to like it when I drank dairy or soy (though I've never liked soy).  I've never actually liked any milk substitute, but I LOVE almond milk.  I switched to the plain after a while - it's still sweetened, but less sweet and more mild flavored.  Really freaking good.

  • I love Almond milk. I like the original flavor better than vanilla though. I absolutely love chocolate soy milk. I like to mix the flavors together :)

  • I love it!

What's the diff between Almond Breeze and Silk brand? We usually get the Almond Breeze.

Much better than soy milk and rice milk is gritty.

No idea?  Almond Breeze was recommended so I was going to get that specifically.  I'm ok with Silk =)

  • I love Almond Breeze. It makes excellent iced lattes.

Dr. L- that stinks about the Almond Allergy. I didn't know adults could develop allergies like that.

  • Oh my gosh, yes. I love Almond Breeze (and I still drink cow's milk - the almond milk is just great in addition!) I use it in iced chais and lattes! So good!
