TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

CD3 appt today

I had my 1st CD3 u/s and b/w appt today with the new RE.  They took 12 vials of blood for their initial round of testing.  I love the nurse I worked with today - I hated the one at my old RE so that's a plus.  She already called and my FSH is 6.  I'm so happy b/c last month it had jumped up to 10, but I guess that was from the meds the prior cycle.

My u/s looked good except for 2 small cysts which they think will just go away on their own.  I don't need to do another HSG, but I have a hysteroscopy on Wednesday and then genetics counseling on Monday.  DH will also have another SA - sounds like they are testing a few other things on him too which is great since the other RE didn't do much with him.

We can still try on our own, but will start IVF in a cycle or two.  It's such a nice change at this practice - the RE actually did my u/s and looked at the results immediately.  The nurse was in the room too so she heard everything.  My old place just had the tech do it, then the RE looked at it later, and the nurse called with the results and never had a clue what was going on.  It's worth the 45 minute drive to get great care.

  • This is awesome news!  I'm so glad you like the new RE.  Sounds like you have a lot going on the next couple of weeks.  I hope you get KU on your own but if not then I'm glad to hear you have a plan to move forward with IVF.

I'm seriously thinking of getting an appointment with another RE.  the one that was recommended has a waiting list until October.

    Good luck with everything!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome news!  It's great to have a plan.  I hope you get ktfu on your own, but it's good to know IVF is so close!
