I wanted to cry so badly but I knew if I got upset that she would, too. Does this mean she's not a "baby" anymore?!?!?! AHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Stay strong. It is best that you do it now. I used to put M down in his crib for naps and he would sleep overnight with me. Now he refuses to even sleep a nap in his crib.
