This is baby number three for us and there are a few bigger items we need. I just encountered a few great sales online but is it ridiculous to buy this early on? I'm 18 weeks.
The only two big items would be a crib (I was expecting delivery time for October but it arrived early!) and a changing table/dresser from CL that was cheap. Holding off on putting the crib together yet until 28w.

I've bought a couple of onesies and receiving blankets....I'm sure that will change in the next 7-10 days if we get a good shot at LO's "goods" during one of these U/S's
We bought a crib, but only because we got a crazy awesome deal. We don't plan on putting it together for a while though. The in-laws have said they're gonna buy us the changing table/dresser combo, but we haven't bought anything else.

DH and I bought the bouncy seat and some clothes. But we are going to slowly start buying more of the big ticket items as we go along! I don't think its too early. Better to be prepared!!!

I think im the furthest ahead here because my first is only 9 months old right now and he was also a fall/winter baby boy so I have pretty much everything I need.
We already have a double stroller, a car seat w/JJ Cole Bundle me to keep him warm, 2 bouncy's (one was DSs), we have the crib, the crib bed set, the pack and play and even clothing...
Some of the things such as crib and changing table are from DS and will just stay in the nursery since the boys will be sharing a room. I was just telling DH tonight the only thing I still need is an extra car seat base.
This week I am starting the project of refinishing an old wooden cradle we have so I have that to do, and once that is finished I am making baby Ethan a quilt(I made one for DS). After that is all said and done I would like to make a book sling or two for the nursery and than other than setting everything up closer to my due date I am all set
Just some small stuff. A few receiving blankets and the like.
I'm getting nervous about at least ordering the crib and other furniture. My friend's 5 weeks ahead of me and found out the only crib she and her DH agreed on is backordered till January.
we bought a package of diapers and wipes! haha. but that's it so far. we have registered for most everything we need. people will buy whatever clothes they think they want us to have. we're not too worried about not getting the items we need (the more expensive stuff), there's no need for us to shell out the money with 2 big showers on the way here in the next couple months.
both sets of parents are taking care of 2/3's of the baby furniture for us: crib and then the dresser/changing table.
all we have to buy is the dresser drawers and the hutch.
I just set up my registry. I did buy the diaper bag though since they had the one I wanted on sale. Other then that my SIL bought us a rattle and two outfits.
We have bought our crib and glider/ottoman, 3 in1 car seat, and some baby clothes because thewy were on sale. Everything is still in the box and or bags. We will be starting our nursery hopefully September first when our friend is scheduled to move out of our house.

We bought our crib and changing table from Ikea. Also, we got a good deal on a BabyBjorn bouncy seat and carrier.
We are not planning on registering. I will wait to buy clothes until after my shower.
