When I go bathing suit shopping, I buy whatever suit makes me feel best, not just the one that "will do". I look at it this way: if I feel good in a bathing suit, it's a bargain at twice the price. I like halter suits that compliment curves; plenty of coverage on the bottom with a beautiful neckline. I also don't believe in swim skirts. Nobody's going to look at the rest of me and say, "I bet she's got a fine ass under that swim skirt".
I bought a new suit! I'll never wear a 2 piece again. But for me, it's not really a weight issue. I could get away with it, but i have some wicked loose skin and stretch marks. But I paid serious $ for an awesome and pretty sexy one piece suit.

this exactly, or a 1 piece with a cute cotton long peasant top thrown over. kind of looks like a swimdress.
