Rec your bottle warmer

Can anyone recommend a good bottle warmer for me?  We got one and don't like it at all!  Why do you like yours?  Ours takes 4 minutes, which is a long time with a screaming baby and you need to wait for 10 minutes after you heat one bottle to heat another.

  • The microwave.

If you literally just warm it for like 10 or 15 secs and swirl it around, it's just enough to take the cool off. Use common sense when trying out times. Just don't nuke it to boiling. ;)

  • I hated my first two bottle warmers.  I had the first years quick warmer and the other one from first years that had all the options on the front.   They never warmed it up on the first cycle so I would have to warm it again which took forever.  I finally just bought the dr. brown's warmer and LOVE it.   It does take 4 minutes but I'll change LO's diaper in the meantime and when I'm done, the bottle is finished as well.
  • Does your l/o NEED it to be warm? I was told by mom friends to keep your baby as low maint.as possible. I give mine at room temp and could probably give her a bottle right out of the frig if need be. If I need to warm it I put it in a cup of hot water to take the chill off. She's had some very impatient moments and has taken some pretty cold bottles no problem.

  • The warmer does not really warm the bottle.  I take it out of the fridge and the bottle warmer makes it room temperature.
