Bare bottom

I've seen a lot of posts about the 3d PT book... I recently read an article on-line that talked about this. It talked about going bare bottom for 3 months. Has anyone done this? 

DD has not been in diapers since May. We tried pull-ups and panties but she seems to to best when she's bare bottom. We can go accident free all day at home when she's not wearing anything. I still put a pull-up on her for nap time and bed time (although she is almost always dry when she gets up from her nap). We have also been using pull-ups when we leave the house. Sometimes she stays dry, sometimes she does not. 


  • How do you begin to introduce underpants? I tried this last week and it did not go well AT ALL.
  • Should she be bare bottom ALL of the time, even when we go out?

If anyone has any experience or advise to offer I would greatly appeciate it!

    I just went cold turkey with the panties lol She still takes them off majority of the time anyway but it teaches her to learn to pull your panties down. I stopped the pull ups during naps because i make her pee before hand and she stays dry throughout but for night i put a pull up on her. Most of the time she has been waking up dry but i still let her have one too many sips of water before bed lol

    The fact that you can be accident free is great! I let olivia pick out her own panties and made it such a big deal. She chose dora so she gets excited to wear them
