in TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Shakily I made my first phone call looking in to adoption this morning.  Makes it a lot more real than when I'm googling info about it.  I left a message for the lady in charge with Catholic Charities & my voice cracked a bit when I said "my husband & I are considering adoption".  Seems surreal, yet so exciting. 

Just had to share with someone. My friends & family don't know we're starting this process.

Connor Thomas 6/6/08. Discovered missed miscarriage at 17 wks 3 days, D&C 11/25/09. Please, please, please - BFP 5/21/11, EDD 2/1/11. Beta@12DPO=52, Beta@14DPO=158. U/S 7/7/11 shows strong baby measuring a couple days ahead!!! Pregnancy Ticker

    Congratulations!  I know the first step is hard, but that's great that you made the call.  I hope that's the hardest part and it's smooth sailing through the rest of the process.  Let us know how it goes.  GL!!

    Yay! I'm glad you did this. I know it was hard for me to make that first call too, it felt totally foreign, but so good to be moving forward. Keep us posted!
