Am I the only one thinking of Halloween?

DD keeps talking about Halloween and what she wants to be. I admit, I am looking online for costumes already. She wants to be Jessie from Toy Story, a princess, a fairy, and Thomas.

    I'm in the same boat.  My two have been talking about Halloween for a month or so.  DD wants to be the Little Mermaid and DS wants to be Iron Man.  I haven't bought costumes yet, but probably will in the next month.

    I've been planning Halloween for a couple months now, only b/c I think I'm going to have to make the costumes.  DD is a redhead and DS is blonde so I think we're going with Pebbles & Bam Bam.

    2months ago DD announced she wants to be the Joker for Halloween.  I figure we'll do DS as Batman. 

    Now I just have to figure out HOW to make a 4 year old girl into the effing Joker........

    Im SO happy to see this post.  DH and i just had a conversation about this recently and he thought i was crazy,but DD #1 loves scooby doo, i wanted to dress her as Daphne, DD2 as Velma and the baby as scooby.  MH thought we should make the baby Scrappy Doo ; )

    My boys want to be ironman and batman. Im leaning toward firemen and dressing the baby as the dalmation fire dog. My other idea was pirates. Not sure yet.

    I was kind of hoping that since it's DD's first Halloween, I could have DS & DD be something cute & matchy...  but DS says he wants to be Buzz Lightyear.  And he told me that the baby should be one of the squeaky green aliens...  not quite what I was going for :)

    That would be hilarious, though! (and adorable)

    I'm only thinking about it because I think we're going to do a Halloween theme for DD2's first birthday (Oct 24th), so we might have all the kids dress up in costumes.
