I was scheduled to do my first IUI tomorrow. DH and I had already requested the time off from work and now this cycle is a bust. I went in for my follicle search at 9 this morning (cycle day 13) and I already ovulated last night, on cycle day 12!

I KNEW something was up. I had all sorts of cramps and achiness last night along with this morning. Bah well I'm glad we did get lots of BD action this weekend but I was so looking forward to this because of our MFI issue.

Stupid me though forgot to ask her what day to schedule my ultrasound next month. Should I schedule my follicle search on cycle day 12 instead of 13? I tend to ovulate on 14 sometimes 13. What I do remember her saying is that if my fertile window is going to fall on the weekend then just take my clomid on days 4-8, I guess to delay ovulation. She bumped up the dosage to 75 mg.

    That sucks.  I hope you were successful on your own though without the IUI.  I actually had my IUI's on different days each time even though I was on the same dose of Clomid each time.  I would use OPK's next time and call them as soon as you get a surge.  My follie checks were always on CD11 so you might want to go in that day and maybe consider using a trigger shot to pinpoint ovulation too.  GL!

    I'm sorry you missed your chance to do the IUI.  I hope the BD was enough, though!
