Newbie and cramping question

Hello all!
My husband and I just found out we are expecting! We are 5 weeks tomorrow and due around March 21, God willing that everything goes as planned 
At about week 3, I was getting some very mild cramping that felt like menstral cramps. They have certainly subsided, however every now and then I feel them. I have heard that cramping is very normal in early pregnancy as long as it is not accompanied by bleeding and severe pain. I am just looking for a little reassurance - have any of you had the same symptoms??

Congrats on the baby!
I'm almost 16 weeks and felt the same thing once and a while in the beginning. As long as you don't have any heavy bleeding, it's just part of the process (per my doc) on all of the growing, expanding and changing of your uterus!
