"She's only getting up every two hours at night because you let her."
"Give her cereal, she'll sleep longer. Besides, you didn't die and I gave you rice cereal and french fries at one month old."
"Let her cry at night. She will eventually go back to sleep."
"I don't know why you're complaining about getting up every two hours, you don't work."
All from my grandmother. Bless her heart. *Hopefully ya'll can sense the sarcasm there.*
Re: Unwanted Baby Advice
Apparently this is true. She squeezed the soft, middle part out and let me eat that. My mom was livid.
I actually don't see anything wrong with CIO for the appropriate aged kid. I don't want to do it with K but if someone else wants to do it, fine.
The other thing that is hilarious about this, is the fact that she is eating at night, for at least ten minutes. I can hear the swallows. So letting her cry is going to get me nowhere. So, in that case maybe the rice cereal will help, but the doc said no. I don't understand why people don't just let it go when you say that! grrr...
Maybe it is just a growth spurt, why do we need to jump on the rice cereal bandwagon so soon?!
