Need opinon on DD's halloween costume (yes I know it is months away)

I have decided to dress DD as Pebbles Fintstone.  Most of the pictures of baby Pebbles that I have found show her in blue shorts and a green animal print tank top.  I plan on hitting up the fabric store and make the top but I any trying to figure out the bottom.  I went to Childrens Place and they did not have any blue shorts (that weren't denim).  I've checked Carters and Osh Kosh online and BRU in store.  There is a possibility at Osh Kosh but it is clearance so there is a chance I won't get it.  Anyway DD does have the tiered yoga skort from TCP that is the right color.  Should I just go with that and be done with it for the bottom?  Or does anyone know a place that has blue shorts?

    Try Walmart - I found DS's blue base outfit there for his superman costume last year.  They have a lot of separates with basic solid colors (and for cheap!  Smile) I think it's their Granimals(?) line.

    Or maybe this:

    Or you could cut off some pants into shorts - and make it that much more "rugged" looking of an outfit.

    I think the skort would be fine.

    But Old Navy has these and they had knit shorts on sale for $4 but they are more aqua.
