Anyone have PBK nursery furniture?

If so, do you like it? Pros/cons? What collection? Thanks!

Re: Anyone have PBK nursery furniture?

  • We have the Kendall collection in espresso and love it.  Pros..quality,customer service, classic style.  Con...the crib was recalled, but I believe they are no longer making it as a drop-side...and all drop-sides will eventually be banned.  We have two nurseries.  I had an issue (I felt the stain on one of the drawers didn't seem to match)  and PB was on top of it...immediately sent out a replacement.  I have a different brand in the second nursery...and I can't even get the manufacturer on the phone...it's frustrating.

  • Yes, I have a PBK crib, changing table, and glider.  The changing table is Larkin, I believe.  I can't remember what the crib is -- I have had no problems at all with the drop-side and I will probably use it again with our next baby.

I will say, though, I really like all of their furniture, but their cribsheets and linens are not worth the price.

  • We just bought DS his "big boy" furniture from PBK and I really like it.  I would read the reviews on whatever collection you pick because I found the feedback from other customers to be on point.  The customer service is great.  Our dresser sustained a bad ding during shipping and they replaced it ASAP.

  • We have the Thomas collection in the nursery (crib and extra long dresser).  I like the color and the look with the beadboard.  The cons would be price obviously and I feel like the wood is very soft meaning every scratch and mark shows up very easily.

We have the Camp collection for DS's big boy room( have the twin bed, waiting on the nightstand and long dresser).  I dont have too much of an opinion on that yet because we are still putting the room together but so far it looks like any other piece of PBK furniture.  Their customer service is great and I just found some awesome deals in store of floor model stuff and curtains for CHEAP.
