Back from ER, but still a March Momma!

Following a full day of bright red bleeding, DH and I went into the ER. 6.5 hours later I have a diagnosis: subchorionic hemorrhage. Looks like I am in the lucky 1.3% of pregnancies that get this issue. We don't know if the bleeding will stop or when, and I have a higher chance of miscarriage now. They couldn't see a fetal pole on the u/s, but I do have a good gestational sac and yolk. I go to my clinic on Monday to see if my hcg is going up or down, but for now I am still a March Momma.

Good luck! Hopefully the news stays good! I am sure that the waiting will be hard, but at the same time you should get frequent reassurances.

One of my coworkers had that and she was placed on strict BR for a couple weeks. She is now on light duty and is 28 weeks pg with a little girl.

So scary! I am sorry you went through that.

What you described on the u/s sounds perfectly normal for 5 weeks! With Karsyn I went in in at 5W1D for bleeding. The u/s showed the same thing. A week and 3 days later I went in for another u/s and we saw a fetal pole and HB of 122! Keep your hope and take it easy. T&P coming your way!
