homemade baby food question

Not sure if this is the place to post, but I have been thinking about making my own baby food. My biggest question is how do you feed homemade food on the go? Or while on vacation? We are going out of town for a weekend and I am just not sure how this will work. Probably a simple answer that I am just not seeing. If you have any other tips about making your own baby food I'd love to hear them. TIA

Re: homemade baby food question

  • if it is frozen, I've just thrown it into the baby bag in the cooler bag part and let it defrost to room temp while out.

these are good for fresh if you're running out w/ the cooler bag:

for travel I never had to do it, but I'd imagine that'd be tougher... if you are driving do you have a cooler to keep it frozen, maybe? I dunno I'm kinda clueless on that part, sorry. :(

  • For traveling, bring what you can to keep frozen, along with things that you can mash up for LO (lik bananas and avocado.) Making baby good is faster than you think and saves LOTS of money, you'll enjoy it too! Also, check out my blog (link in siggy) for recipes and ideas. Good luck!
