i know it's super early to be testing (9dpo) but i was really hoping for a bfp so i would know for sure that i couldn't drink today at the BBQ.

i always feel terribly guilty if i drink when it's so close to the time to find out if your going to get a bfp or bfn. ugh.

anyways, at least i'm not spotting so hopefully i'll know for sure in the next few days.

I am sorry hon:( ...FWIW I drank a lot on my birthday at 9dpo and got my BFP on 11dpo I think you can have a few drinks and not feel guilty

I'm sorry buddy, however you can still have a few drinks and if you do get a BFP you can remind yourself that the baby doesn't get nutrients from you until 6 weeks, so a few drinks today aren't going to hurt anything.

And that's a tidbit from every doctor I've ever had.

Sorry about the bffn. I got a few way too early last week and had to stop testing. FWIW, I agree with the girls and say have a few drinks! I didn't find out with ds until 6 wks and had been out a few times after he was conceived. Have fun today

thanks ladies! my problem is once i start drinking it's hard for me to stop. LOL i'm a lush. Stick out tongue stupid 2ww is raining on my parade. i want to just unwind and have some fun. i'm sure i'll still have a few drinks. Wink

oh yah, did i mention i'm getting my hair done (highlighted) before the bbq today too?? i'm really asking for it. LOL i wish i didn't worry about everything so much b/c i annoy myself.
