Does anyone know if you can get pregnant a 2-3 months after giving birth
without a period? I know you can get pregnant right away, or so I've
heard from people but just wondering about the period not being regular
yet. What do you ladies think?
You don't need a period to get pregnant. Usually, if I remember correctly, your period comes AFTER you ovulate - so you wouldn't know when you're ovulating if you haven't had a period yet.
Yup you can. A friend of mine went to the dr because she hadn't gotten period 3 months after giving birth (she wasn't bf-ing) and the dr said "surprise, your pregnant again" so it is very possible.

You don't need a regular period to get pregnant. My last period was in June 2009 and I got pregnant late Sept 2009. Unless I'm on birth control I only get periods a couple of times a year.
when my first daughter was 3 months old, i got pregnant with my second daughter. i had not had a period yet (still bfing). it was such a surprise.
and just in case you're trying to decide whether or not to get pg that fast...
they are almost 3 and 2 (they are 53 weeks apart) and we LOVE it that way. definitely hard at first, but they are best buds and playmates. made it much easier to have a third one because the older two have each other! (our youngest is 3 weeks old).
Re: Pregnancy soon after giving birth?
I'm not trying to be rude, but didn't you ask the same question on this board earlier today?
And the answer is yes, you can definitely get pregnant again right away. You have no idea when you're going to ovulate after you give birth.
