Tells me everytime she needs to go but....

We started on Tuesday in "Dora" panties and everytime she would stop herself mid-pee and tell me she needed to go.  It has really been pretty easy ....I have only had to clean pee off the floor 4 times....no cleanups since Wednesday.

So my question is...she tells me everytime she needs to go but when I pull her panties down to put her on the toliet you can see/feel a small amount of pee.  How long before she will stop "dampening" her panties?  Anyone else have this issue?

    It takes a while. Don't get discouraged by that. You figure they've been peeing in a diaper their whole lives. This is such a new skill that it takes a while to be able to recognize the potty sensation right away. My DD has been PT since the new year and still is slightly damp when she's too involved in her play to pay attention to the potty feeling. Sounds like you two are on the right track!

    DS did that for a while also...I would say probably for a couple months he would have a small wet spot more than not.  He still (after a year) has a little wet spot in his underwear occasionally...if he is really busy/in to whatever he is playing/doing at the time.
