Unfortunately, you cannot spot reduce, so I would start with an overall cardio workout that will reduce any extra weight. However, it is important that you tone the abs since they have been through a tough time and have weakened due to c-section. Despite what you hear you do not have to do crunches every day. Try with 4 days a week and go online to search for different exercises that you can do to work the abs in different ways. You can PM me for specific exercises if you want! good luck!!
yes when you find a way please let me know too...my oldest (he is 9) was a c section, and I had 2 kids since and am pregnant with #4 right now, but in ALL the working out I did between my kids, that little pooch always remained !! I am thinking after I have this baby, I will have to get my pooch cut off or something!!
Best of luck, you can do a lot in 3 months, but I bet no matter what your DH will be THRILLED to see you and think that you are GORGEOUS!! )
from other c-sec friends I hear it never really goes away, I lost 35lbs of baby weight and still have such a tummy, uch. I plan to start yoga again soon, that was the best for my pooch before pregnancy, so keeping fingers crossed.
"It never goes away" is a myth. It can go away. I will admit at your point (two monts PP) I wasn't convinced it would, but it did. A bit of Weight Watchers and a lot of exercise did it for me.
Re: tips to getting rid of pooch after c section?
When you find out...let me know!
I'd love to get rid of my pooch too!
