That is a tough decision but I think I would. I would also be prepared to have another child and if I really didn't want another child, then I wouldn't. I had a recent scare with my dd recently (we were told she had bone cancer of the skull-they were wrong but for 4 hrs, we were told this and were planning a morning surgery) so I could certainly see doing anything possible to save my dd.
I would...but I'm one of those people who don't have a "set" family plan really. Any kids I have will be welcomed & loved irregardless of the circumstances of their conception (planned, not planned, accident, etc)...so adding another would be fine & very joyous, especially if it saved another child's life.
Re: Having another baby for the core blood to save an existing child?
didn't they make a movie about this? I never saw it, but I thought My Sister's Keeper was about this same subject.
I think I probably would do it.
