nanny share

I am due in July and starting to look at child care options.  My ideal option would be to do a nanny share with another family in the St. Paul area (highland park, mac/groveland area).  Anyone else out there have a nanny share?  What are your thoughts?  Any recommendations on finding a nanny or another family to do the nanny share?

    I used to be a nanny and I would recommend using Loving Care, LTD to find a nanny. They are very good with their background checks and extensive interviews to match good nannies to a family that would work well with them. They are located in Oakdale.

    Another option for finding a nanny is enannysource.com but then you have to do your own background checks.

    Good luck! I think a nanny is a great way to go if you can find the right one for your family.

    I live in Saint Paul as well and need 3/day a week care (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) starting in mid August for a 3 month old.  I would definitely be interested in talking nanny share with folks!  maggiezimm@gmail.com.

     I can't nanny share for that area, but depending if I stay at work we could totally share. However, at the moment we are thinking I can stay home...i will be back at work Wednesday so will know more soon enough.

     If this isn't Katie, my bad!

    Ha Ha!  Hey Talia, it IS Katie :)  I did hear that you might be able to stay at home with Hudson, which is awesome!!  If not, let me know and maybe we can work something out :)

    Hello! I'm a bit slow to find this post and reply but I'd be interested in talking about a nanny share. I'm due at the end of July; I live in St Paul, just across the High Bridge from Highland Park. Are you still looking for someone to share?

    We live in St Paul just across the high bridge in W 7th. We just had our first child (baby boy) two weeks ago and still don't have a reasonable child care option for September when we go back to work. We are struggling to find anything at all and think a nanny share could be great. 

     Our house might not be ideal for all families who want to share since we have two dogs (that so far have never had a problem with infants and are uninterested in ours) but we are pretty open to figuring something out.
