I was really skeptical of this, but I decided to try and eat a bowl of oatmeal most days once my milk came in. Recently I went about a week without eating any oatmeal, and I noticed my supply went down. Curious as to whether it really was the oatmeal, I had a bowl for dinner the other night, and oddly enough, I woke up more engorged than I had been the next morning!
Not sure about cream of wheat because i haven't tried it. I've never heard of that helping, I've always heard of oatmeal.
I recently had lactation cookies that were fortified w/ oatmeal, flax seed and nutritional yeast. I swear they helped with my supply... but of course, they were fattening (but really good!). So I'm starting a bowl of oatmeal w/ flax and yeast each morning instead. I think it helps!!

I figured I'd do the same thing after trying the cookies too - I add flax to my oatmeal but I'm too afraid to try adding the yeast. Can you taste the yeast in your oatmeal?
Just curious, are you ladies eating the quick oats or the rolled oats (ones you boil)? I heard it's the oats you boil that truly help supply, but making them takes 15-20 mins that my LO just does NOT want to give me in the mornings once we're both awake...

I know I'm late with this response - sorry! I could not taste the yeast!
