What are your plans for the weekend?

I'm painting my living room tomorrow and then on Sunday I'm going out to lunch with two of the ladies that my DH works with and then we're going to the movies to see Despicable Me. It might feel a little awkward on Sunday since I don't know them well, but it was nice of them to invite me out!

    DH will be in the office all weekend so I plan on doing home improvement things.  I hope to work in my jungle - I mean yard - but they are calling for rain so I guess the mowing is out.  However I do hope to trim some bushes, rip out all the dead stuff, and to start laying down some edging that has been sitting on my front porch since January.

    I have a bbq at a friend's house tomorrow night and then Sunday we are celebrating DH's and my niece's b-days at my BIL's.  So I have to cook and buy some gifts.  I'll also need to do some catching up on my sleep.

    We might go to a rodeo tonight, my cousin is team roping.  Tomorrow is our town's big celebration so we'll go to the parade.  Sunday we're going to visit a different church, which I always find scary, but we quit going and need to find a new home church.

    We're meeting friends for dinner/drinks tonight after work and tomorrow I'm going to start packing our apartment (we got a place in L.A. and now it's time to sort the "keep" from the "sell/donate").  Sunday we're having an "in" day: popping popcorn, turning off cell phones, and watching movies in the dark on the sofa.  I'm excited.
