Double stroller?

DS and I walk 2+ miles a day.  I've put up with a standard Graco, but would like an upgrade when #2 comes.  So, something more than mall walking, but I'm not going to be running marathons.  Bonus points if it will take an infant seat.

Any recs?

Re: Double stroller?

  • We purchased a City Select stroller, it has the option to be single or double and it fits an infant seat.  So far, we've only used it as a single since #2 isn't here yet.

  • We also will be getting the City Select...in addition to a car seat, it also has a bassinet...there are 16 different configurations!

  • I just found an awesome deal on a Graco double strolller at a consignment shop.  It is a lot different than a regular stroller.  I would go to a few stores and try some different ones out. (Most places will let you push it around) It is going to be an adjustment. But I only apid $100 vs %250 at BRU.

  • Do you think the city select wheels will hold up?  The wheels on my single have been worn to nothing in one summer and those look just like it.
  • The City Mini double is also a really nice stroller. We have the single; I learned about the stroller from a friend with twins who loooves her double. I couldn't be happier with the single.

  • We have the Baby Jogger City Select stroller and it is awesome!  It's a little $$, but it's sooooo cool!  It has many configurations, including infant seat (using an adaptor), and it handles like a dream!  Definitely take a look at it!  :)

You mean the tires of the CS look like the Graco?  I really think that CS tires will hold up much better.  They seem very durable.
