Hi ladies. I'm so busy at work lately, I've been on a strict Bump diet - and I don't like it one bit!
As I'm sneaking in a minute on here, I've got a question.
DS turned 1.5 a couple of weeks ago, and I've noticed in the past week or two he's gotten more.. violent, for the lack or better word. The second things don't go his way (and that includes me saying 'no' or a toy not cooperating), he starts waving his arms and screaming on top of his lungs. He's a very active and emotional little guy, but this is totally new. He's smacked me a couple of times and flipped a few plates of food on purpose (I think) when things haven't gone his way. So, I guess he's easily frustratable... Is this normal? I"m just worried for some reason because this change has come on so rapidly and dramatically.
Are your LOs doing this? TIA!
Re: DS's behavior - Q
DD started the same thing about that age.
It seems to be calming down a bit now that she's able to communicate better. I think sometimes they just have no other way to express their frustration, you know?
Thanks Ladies - you're definitely have calmed me down a bit. And thanks for the tips on how to deal with these lovely flair ups!
