i hate how my losses has affected my reactions to friends bfps...

in TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

i just hate it.  i should be happy for them when i see their announcement about another pregnancy etc... but my initial thought is like a knife through my heart or punch in my stomach and then i honestly feel physically sick.  Crying  i feel so selfish for feeling this way but i can't help it. 

so i really hate how my losses has affected my feelings towards others bfps.  there's no reason i shouldn't be happy for them but i can barely muster a congrats.  i feel so awful b/c that's not who i am.  ugh.

    I promise, you are not alone. I'm sorry you're feeling down. I think it's another lovely "side effect" of pregnancy loss.

    I know how you feel.  If I hear about a BFP and she didn't have a loss or IF issues then I'm totally bitter.

    I know how you feel. Unless it's said directly to me, I'm more than likely not to say congrats. It wasn't so bad a month ago, but I think my EDD coming up and all the stress from AF made me worse.

    I feel the same way.  I've spent a lot of this month crying in the bathroom at work - there must have been 3 PG announcements this month alone.

    I agree you are not alone.  I am truly happy for those who are pg, but inside there is a sense of sadness and question "will that ever be me?"  I am sorry, but I relate and feel the same way.  HUGS

    I feel the same way. I already am at my breaking point with all the bfp announcements among my friends. We have a lot of weddings this summer and I am hoping I am pg before I get more announcements.

    lots of my friends are announcing their pg. w/ their 2nd and i was pg. w/ my 2nd when they were pg. w/ their first.  i feel like a failure. here i sit 2 years later still empty handed.  :::sigh:::
