Last night in the crib :-(

I just put Gavin down for his nap and it made me realize that tonight will probably be the last time he sleeps in his crib. DH is breaking it down tomorrow to give to SIL. We have our new crib for the baby already- he'll put it together later- after we've painted. His big boy bed has been set up for months in his room but he just plays on it. He sleeps so well in his crib, I am really scared to make this transition but it needs to happen now. I can hardly lift him out of there as it is- it will be impossible when I get bigger. I'm pretty sad about this transition- from here, we are moving on to serious potty training with the hopes that we will have that completely done in a couple more months. My baby is growing up!

awwww! you've had a good run lady! we had to move Finn when he was just a little over 2 because he started climbing out of the crib, but man I would have kept him in there! you're going to think it is the cutest thing to see him sleeping in that big boy bed! good luck!

Good luck! Benjamin's transition was so much easier than I thought it would be so Gavin may surprise you. I felt the same way though the night before we moved him.

And good luck with the PT. I think I'm going to start in a few weeks although still deciding exactly how I'm going to go about doing it!

Tonight is Amiri's last night in his toddler bed, which is what his crib transformed to. He will be going into a twin size as we move tommorow and I refuse to carry that to the next place.
