friend is looking for a westie

I have a friend who is interested in getting a Westie doggie.  She has allergies and they are hypo-allergenic.  If you know of a breeder or have seen one in a shelter, can you let me know?  My email is kenzid at gmail dot com.

    According to Petfinder, there is a Westie rescue in Franklin, TN (just south of Nashville).

    Since you can be allergic to dog saliva and/or dander which all dogs have, a low shedding breed may not solve the allergy problems.  Hopefully, she can spend some time with a dog before committing to it to figure out if it triggers her allergies.

    Ditto this. Even "hypoallergenic" dogs aren't truly hypoallergenic. It would really be sad for the dog if she got it home and discovered it won't work with her allergies.

    Good point ladies.  I am not sure what she is allergic to.  I will remind her and let her know about the shelter in TN.  Thank you!
