2 month chec-up and vaccinations

Georgia had her two month appointment yesterday and is doing great. 11 lbs and 23 inches, both in the 50 percentile. 

She had a couple of vaccinations, one in each thigh, and now has knots at each injection site.  Anything we can do or will they just take time to go away?

    It is common because there are certain vaccination that is injected in the muslce tissue that can cause that knot.  It happened to Emmy when she was little and it freaked me out and I took her back to the Dr.  Just watch for any major swelling or if the redness doesn't go away.

    You can massage them, but it's more effective if you do it right after the shot.

    Same thing when you get a flu shot in your arm - I always rub mine, DH never does. Guess who is a whiney baby for days afterward about his sore arm??
