Baths- how often?

DD is 4 weeks and I have been bathing her about every other day. What does everyone else do? I'm thinking about this because we're traveling this weekend and probably gong to have to sponge bathe her so I don't have to take her tub.

DS is 6 weeks. Although I kinda think we should do more, right now we're giving him a bath twice a week. He hates it and screams the whole time.

Our pedi said 2-3 times/wk is fine though.

I give my DS a bath every night. I have a bedtime routine going with him hoping that he catches on to it good before I have to return to work next week.

every other day. it is so hot here and he gets so sweaty that sometimes i just rinse him in water to cool him off!

We were doing it every few days or if he got dirty, but turns out he LOVES the shower, so we shower every day now. He can be screaming and I just have to take him in the bathroom and turn on the water and he's instantly calm.

DH bathes LO every night. It is their special bonding time and since she LOVES her baths, it is really fun. We only use soap every other day though so we don't dry her out. It's really nice cuz DH bathes her, I get to go read a book or have me time while he takes care of the baby, then he brings her to me, she nurses and falls asleep.

He is bathed every day but washed every other day. he loves the bath and it helps him sleep at night (goes about 5-7 hrs) so we decided to do it nightly.

At your LO's age we did this. Now with it being hot out and her going to daycare, where unfortunatly one of the workers wears a heavy perfume that DD ends up reaking of by the end of the day, we are doing it daily. Some days it's just a sponge bath other days full on bath tub. She screams a lot either way so if I could get away with doing it less I totally would.
