I ordered one with the intention of trying it for 24 hrs and returning it unless I was Wow'd. It was much larger than I'd envisioned, and had warnings all over it about not putting it in the crib and not leaving the baby unattended. Isn't that the point???? I guess they are just trying to cover their butts.
Anyhow, I never even tried it before returning. Now I kind of wish I'd kept it because DS has major congestion...maybe it would help.
I just ordered one so I will let you know. My boy is on zantac but still he wakes up quite frequently from the reflux. We try the bouncy seat but he seems to slide down and slouch in it. I am hoping it works a bit because we need some sleep!
We looked into buying then say the price. A little to pricey for me. We bought the Rock -n- play sleeper from fisher price. It was the best $50 I spent. DD slept in the first night she came home till about a week ago. She would still be sleeping in it but DH insisted that she start sleeping in her little bed we have for her.
We have had one for 2 days... my son has terrible AR and it was impossible to get him to sleep. He has slept so well since we have started using it. It was well worth the money and I invision us using it for a long time. Despite the warnings we do have it placed in his crib with our angel care monitor underneath it.
THe monitor is plenty sensitive even through the thick foam and he falls asleep within minutes of being put down and sleeps for 4-5 hr intervals only waking to eat. A major transformation from earlier this week.
I have been using the Nap Nanny with my daughter since she was a few weeks old and it has been amazing. For us it was such a great find and doesn't even begin to compare to any of the other products we tried for sleeping with reflux!
