update on bathtub - got the eurobath

I was still debating between the puj and the eurobath, but i realized the sink in the bathroom where we'll be bathing the baby is really small, and my friend (who sold me the babyhawk) was looking to sell her eurobath - so I went ahead and got it for $14.50. not a *huge* deal, but good enough for me Smile i figure i can resell it for about the same amount.  i remember Jaime loved it, and it has great reviews; my friend also raved about it. funny that i'm so excited about a bath tub, but we're *just* getting started with figuring out all the stuff we need - my goal for the next 2 weeks is to get our registry set up.

thanks again for the recs!

I really wanted the EuroBath! The only reason why we didn't get it was cuz we ended up getting a hand-me-down tub free so we're using that now.

  • We're going to transition to the EuroBath soon... picked ours up for $2 second hand! Otherwise we'd stick with the basic one we're currently using. I've heard such great things about it!

$2!!!  that's amazing.  where did you find it?!  makes my "deal" seem not like much of a deal anymore!  hehe.

  • sandra you should google the Just Between Friends Sale - they're getting ready to do their fall sales in August and there may we one near you.  i got mine there for $10 :) not the $2 deal but still a great price if you ask me....it looks brand new...as plastic doesn't often show wear LOL

i like that she can lay down in it so i can wash her hair (obviously she was reclined when she was younger too) and now she can sit up and play too :) i mostly like that it works for when they are older vs other baby tubs that are only for when they are younger and willing to stay in the reclined position!

I got it at a private school/church thrift shop. They always have kids' stuff for cheap! I also scored this back-up stroller for $20, nearly new and retailing for $150: https://tinyurl.com/26ugqxz

    Gotta love the bargains!

ooh, thanks for the tip!  There is one near me in early August Big Smile, and as a first-time parent, i can get in to one of the presales - I already put it in my calendar, since it's a Monday morning - i'm so there.

any tips on preparation i need to do ahead of time?  should I go armed with baby bargains so i can look stuff up?  my problem is that i always need to do so much research before committing to anything.  or should I make a list first, of stuff that I would buy if I found it there and stick to the list (not including toys, clothes, etc)?  they make it sound like it's going to be a complete madhouse!

i need to get moving on some serious research!

  • It's a great tub :)  My oldest had a lot of fun in it and we're still using it with my youngest.
