Natural Birth

41 weeks

Aparently we are on the 10 month plan.  I am just going to try and relax my brain and my body and remember that she is easier to care for in there than out here!

I am still taking labor dust donations though!

Re: 41 weeks

  • I'm right there with you. I cant even be at home for more than an hour during the day because I've been driving myself crazy wondering when she'll get here. I know a normal pregnancy lasts 37-42 weeks but I was hoping to be on the other end of the time spectrum! Good Luck!

  • I went to 41 weeks, 1 day.  DS decided to come out on his own before they went in after him- he came on the day I was scheduled to be induced.  Here's some labor dust for ya Gift

  • I'm a whole day behind you- 41 wks tomorrow.  My midwife just keeps reminding me that this is totally normal and I'm not considered post-dates yet.  I'm hoping for some action this weekend but who knows.  My labor intuition must be broken since I could have sworn this baby would have arrived by this past Monday.

My midwife's biggest piece of advice was to stay away from people with stupid comments about having not had the baby yet.

Labor dust and patience to all of us!

     For their safety of course!

I ran into a former co-worker today who told me she went to 43 weeks on the dot with her son.  I am going to go have a pedicure tomorrow and make sure they massage my feet and then spoil my DD with snugglies while she is still an only child!

    Labor dust all around!
