Hi ladies! I just got back home from my egg retreival. The RE told me he got 11 eggs. So not a fantasic number, but it should still be good enough to have some for the transfer. He said he has had ladies come in that get 11 and all fertilize, or none fertilize and most are right in the middle. They said I can call in around 11am or Noon tomorrow and find out how many fertilized. My transfer is scheduled for Sunday afternoon. I would love it if we had 6 fertilize so that we could put 2 in and freeze 4. We'll see what happens. I think this part of the wait is the wrost. I am going to try and lay down for a bit until all of these drugs wear off.

ETA: He did tell me that my uterus looked perfect - couldn't be better. He said if we get a good embryo in there he is almost certain it will stick.

It was only light anethesia but it felt like general anesthesia! I didn't notice a difference between being knocked completely out and the "light sedation" they put me in. I honestly don't remember a thing! Piece of cake really!!
