Babies: 0 - 3 Months

this spit-up is driving me nuts!

DD is a happy spitter to the extreme.  She is in no way bothered by it.  It can not be due to overfeeding - bf and she spits all day.  I am praying that she grows out of this as we start solids (Sat/Sun).  My sister told me my nephew spit until she stopped bfing (10months).  I can't handle it for another 4 months!  Her rolling everywhere certainly doesn't help either. GRRRRRRRR

  • I'm with you, DS spits up all day long and not just a little bit.

  • My DD spits up too!  I know how you feel.  I was just worried that something was wrong but my DD is very healthy, growing and gaining weight so I'm not so worried about it anymore.  The Pedi was not concerned either so now I've just learned to live with it...Smile

  • DD spits up ALL the time. She has a bib on at all times and goes through 3-4 a day. It doesn't matter how much we feed her, she just always has a big burp and then a giant spit. Ick.

  • DS is also a happy spitter! He's ruined more of our clothes than I can count. He spits up just as much 2 hrs after he ate as he does immediately following. We've talked to the dr many times and he insists it will just subside as he gets older. ughhhhh
  • I'm with you guys. Spit up all day and all over. Graham actually laughed today when he spit up down my shirt and all over the couch and I let out a screetch. Ridiculous. What's bad is this morning, I was laying in bed and was like "What is that smell?" to my DH. Then I realized it was dried spit up from the day before when I took an early morning nap with DS in my bed, and he spit up on my sheets. Sigh...
