We are flying for vacation soon and I need to get a lightweight stroller. I'm looking at the Quinny and Uppa G-luxe. Anyone have one of these? If not do you have one you love? TIA!
When we fly I take our Maclaren Volo. I have a butt load of strollers and this is always my go to choice, if something light is needed. I looked at the Quinny, but I had issues folding and unfolding it. The Volo is easy for me to fold and unfold. Also you easily carry it, if you have to run to get your next connection. We had to do that last time we flew. I ended finding my Volo on clearence for $25, so if something where to happen to it I won't be upset.
I have a MacLaren Triumph. I love this stroller! It's really lightweight (only 11 pounds) and it has a carrying strap that makes moving it when folded a breeze. Plus it holds a child up to 50 pounds, so I'm confident that we'll be able to use it for awhile.
I chose the Triumph over the Volo because the Triumph has a reclining seat where the Volo doesn't. That is not really an issue now that DD is older, but when she is younger it was a deal breaker.
We have a Quinny Zapp: we really like it for travel because it's lightweight and is super compact folded. It also comes with a travel bag, which is handy for gate checking on planes.
They're pretty common here, so I don't get too many comments but when we were last in the states, I got tons of compliments and people stopping me to ask what kind it was.
I have the Uppababy G-Luxe. We love it. It folds up easily, and maneuvers easily. My only complaint is that you can't take the seat off to wash it. But, I just basically gave it a shower with the garden hose once.
Re: please recommend your lightweight stroller
We have a Chicco Liteway, its awesome ! way cheaper than a maclaren and works just as good !
