Food Aversions?

I don't think I've had any cravings yet - but as for aversions...they started out really early!

I have zero desire for sweets!  NONE!  I had a subway chocolate chip cookie the other day and couldn't take more than a bite before feeling my stomach roll.

I LOVE ice cream and DH wanted to stop at the ice cream shop down the road, I told him he could but I didn't want anything.  He looked at me like I was crazy!  I just don't want sweets at all, I'm hoping that goes away eventually.

Re: Food Aversions?

  • No specific food aversion..I just can't make up my mind about what to eat.  I'm NEVER this indecisive.  I'd be happy just not eating at all but I know that's no good.  Weirdest part is that I LOVE food!

  • I had a food aversion to chicken noodle soup my first pregnancy. This pregnancy, nothing so far, but it's still very early.

  • I haven't really wanted anything sweet either.  and I'm not much of a meat eater, but I've been all about some protein.

  • I had a food aversion to eggs with my first pregnancy. Yesterday I made fish sticks for dinner and it just sounded disgusting to me so I had a cheese quesadilla and I could barely choke down the quesadilla.  I'm with those who say they aren't finding anything satisfying I'm starving but nothing is filling that void.
  • i usually have such a big sweet tooth and i cant stand anything sweet right now. only crave SAVORY food.

  • So far I've had light m/s here and there.  I was fine all day yesterday until I lifted a piece of pizza to my mouth for dinner.  It was so weird - while it was in the oven, it smelled so good, and as soon as I tried to eat it, I felt a wave of m/s.  I still ate it, and everything stayed down.

    This morning, I'm anti-peanut butter & toast. :)
