What kind of deodorant do you wear?

No matter what I use, I still feel stinky at the end of a long hard day!  I need to find something that works for me and is long-lasting.  Do these really exist or am I just cursed as an Italian to be musky...musky and hairy...sigh...

Oh, and I use Dove because my family swears by it.  Me...not so much!

  • I have to use the clinical strength Degree or Secret. My DH sweats a lot too. We are going to have the sweatiest kids. i feel like I already need to appologize to the baby for bad genetic set up on this issue. Stick out tongue

  • I use the Clinical Secret at night...and I use Men's Speed Stick each morning.

I ALSO, maybe once a month swipe some Certi Dry on....it works wonders.  I used to use it more often but it dries my skin out badly.  Now I use it when I feel I need it.

  • I use Stinky No More.  I don't really sweat a lot and never really had a problem with deodorant except I can't really use store bought because it gives me a rash.  But then my friend (who uses clinical strength Degree and men's deodorant because she DOES sweat a lot) used mine one day and loved it so much she bought her own and now swears by it.

  • Degree Ultra.  It is the only thing I find that works, except the degree clinical one, but it leaves white spots.

  • When it comes to questions about sweating, I'm your girl. lol  I can totally relate.  I use mostly all natural body products, & this is one thing I just haven't been able to make the switch on.  I sweat so much that I have even had botox injections in my armpits to reduce it (which made an AMAZING difference AND it was covered by my insurance, btw).  My sweating is that bad, and it sucks!  I currently use Secret deodorant, and I do like it.  The clinical strength was better, but I switched to the regular just to cut down on chemicals & to have something that is invisible.  You might want to ask your dr about getting a Rx for Drysol.  It's an antiperspirant that you put on at night, and after regular use, you should see a dramatic decrease in your sweating.  It can make your armpits itch like a mo-fo though!
  • I switch off month to month.  I read an article once that you are supposed to change up products like this because your body gets used to them and they are less effective.  I do the same with shampoo and conditioner.
  • I use Secret Powder Fresh :)
  • Aluminum free deodorant because aluminum increases the risk of breast cancer.  I use Tom's of Maine in Appricot.  It is only a deodorant and not an antipersperant so it does not block sweat which is your body's natural cooling system.
  • I'm also Italian but I don't seem to be musky! Wink

I use Dove or Lady Speed stick...cashmere scent...it almost smells like I'm wearing perfume!
