Do you use the jeans diapers as a substitute for pants in public? One of our DC babies goes to school in sometimes just a t-shirt and a jeans diaper and the DCP asked me this morning if I thought it was odd. I don't take the boys out of the house in a diaper and no pants, but I'm not sure what you're supposed to do with these. I mean, the point is that they're meant to be seen, right?
Just curious if you use them instead of pants or if they're just another diaper.
Re: Huggies Jeans Diaper users, a question
This was kind of my thinking. I know the boys have had blowouts before where I'm GLAD they were wearing other clothes at the time!
Just another diaper for us...I agree with the DCP to think it is a little weird.
Yes, it was cute the first time he put one on and we let him run around the house without pants on....but the novelty completely wore off and we regreted the expensive impulse buy!
I think it is odd. B always has to have shorts or pants on. He takes his diaper off if he doesn't. So he doesn't even hang out at home with no pants on. Also DH has a serious issues with kids not wearing shirts and bottoms. SIL never has bottoms on her son and DH always makes comments to her about it.
I haven't bought any of the "designer" diapers because no one would ever see them. Not sure about the huggies ones, but the pampers ones are like 60 cents a diaper. I normally can get huggies snug and dry or pampers baby dry for just over 20 cents a diaper.

I only have DD wear them at home, without pants. And only when I'm home (which is basically the weekends) so I can enjoy them.
I wouldn't take her in public without a dress or pants. And she wouldn't wear them under a dress -- too me it would look like she's wearing "jeans" under a dress and thats tacky LOL
