I'm 28 and was first to get married. I have one group of friends who are all seriously dating, with two looking at an engagement over the next year, but none are married.

I had two friends from another group get married within a year of us, and from what they've told me, they're both looking at next year for TTC. So, yes, I'm the first to get knocked up, too!

DH is 29 and has friends ranging in age from 29 to about 33 and two of his friends have kids, and another is expecting their first (she's about 13 weeks).

I'm 34 (will be 35 when I deliver) and DH is 36 and this is our first.

Our friends are mixed - some are married with multiple kids, unmarried with a kid, and some are single with no marriage or baby prospects in the near future.

This is the first for me too. I'll be 27 in about 2 months and was the first to get married & pregnant in my group of friends. 2 are getting married next year.

Anyone in this situation get the opposite pressure (don't have kids YET, wait for us type thing)?

HI! I'm 25 and this is my first! I have some friends who are pregnant/already have kids but they live in different cities. We have one other couple that we're close to that is about a month further along than us.

My DH is a little older (35) and most of his friends are married and have a kid or 2. I am 29 and out of my friends, I was in the middle to get married and I only have 2 other friends who have had kids. DH and I have been together so long though, they are all our friends, but I'm referring to the friends I had before I met DH.

I'm 28 and DH is 34 and this is our first. We have several different groups of friends. In one group we are dead last (most have 3 or 4 kids already), but in others we are in the middle of the pack.

Dh is 29 and I'm 28, we're the 2nd of our group of friends from college to get married and pregnant. Friend #1 was WAY ahead of the curve and got married and started having babies right out of college.

OH....and we're the last in our group to have a baby! All of our friends have kids that are approaching kindergarten age! So, everyone is glad its our turn so there will be another baby around...and this time - one that wont be going home with them! LOL!

YES... we of course haven't told anyone yet that we're pregnant, but I know we're going to get some dropped jaws. Even at the bridal shower (we only got married last month) I was asked if we wante kids. I said "oh yes, and we don't plan on waiting"... then I had to listen to an hour of older women tell me why I should live my life before having kids. I may be wrong, and I know children take up so much of your life, but I dont think it has to be OVER! Goodness, you'd think by the sound of it these women almost regretted ever having kids. anyway, I'm ranting.

I'm 31 (will turn 32 about a month before EDD) and DH is 30. We were WAY out ahead of the pack getting married (I was 23, he was 22), and out of our close, core group of friends, only one other couple is expecting in December. No one else has kids yet.

I'm 32 and DH is 34- this is our first. Our group of friends are mixed- many have kids, others are still dating and just getting married. Definitely have more friends w/ kids though than without.

I'm 30, turning 31 in 3 weeks. DH turns 31 this Sunday. This is our first baby. Out of my close circle of friends (the girls who were my MOH/bridesmaids at our wedding in December), one of them is married with two kids, another is married and is TTC, another just got married but does not want to have kids, and the other two are on the cusp of getting engaged and want kids in the future. They are all around my age, so I guess it's a good mix. I have only told one of them so far (my BFF who was my MOH) that we're having a baby. I will probably tell the others closer to my birthday (I'll be around 9 weeks at that time).
