Yesterday I wrote this post (https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/39679755.aspx) about bleeding (red) & cramping (bad).
They did not see anything on the ultrasound, but my urine test came back faintly positive. The vaginal exam showed that my lining was very thin. The dr. ordered some bloodwork. I was not feeling very positive about the situation, particularly because when I got home, I had the worst pain of my entire life, plus the bleeding was heavier with more clots. This morning, they called with my hcg level: 6. Yup, 6. Seriously?! I'm surprised the urine test was even positive at all! They still want me to go back on Friday to get my 2nd level, but I think it's pretty much pointless. So, my thought is that it was a chemical pregnancy. It just really sucks because all the articles about chemical pregnancies I've read say that the bleeding (miscarriage) starts around the time of your period or a few days later (not a week & a half like in my situation) so that a lot of women don't even know they're "pregnant." Sigh, now I know why women wait so long to tell people about their pregnancies. Next time, we are only going to tell our parents before our first appointment.
I wish you all a happy and healthy 9 months. Please, if you have any spotting, call your doctor!!! It's better to be safe than sorry. If it's okay, I might lurk here once in a while to see how all you lovely ladies & babies are doing.
We are going to wait a month to see what my cycle does and then begin TTC again. Meanwhile, I think I will start visiting the M/PL, TTCAL & TTGP boards.

If you haven't already gone to the MCPL board there are wonderful strong women, who were a great source of support for me.

Thanks, girl, for the inspiration! I'm going to keep track of my cycle this month to see what happens & we'll either start TTC again this month or next.
