I am sure this has been asked 100x. DD is potty trained except for a few accidents here and there (maybe 1 or 2 a week) and at night time. We still use pull ups (sleeping panties) for naps and bedtime. She always wakes up dry from naps (nothing to drink 1 hour before nap and pee before nap) but 80% of the time she wakes up wet in the morning (no drinks at least 2 hours before bedtime and pee before bedtime).
Should I stop pulls ups all together and let her have some accidents in bed? What do you do?
Re: Nighttime
I just wanted to say that we're dealing with the same thing.. naps she's almost always dry. But in the morning, her overnight diaper is ready to explode! I know that part of it, for us, is that she's using her sippy of water as a lovey/paci at night and won't go to sleep w/out that. But there's maybe an oz of water in there!
So basically, I'm also looking for answers as to what to do next
DD basically just PTed herself. I tried 3-day about a month ago and it was a disaster. Then last week she decided she was done w/ diapers and has gone on her own since then (she just runs to the bathroom and does her thing, then dumps it into the toilet, flushes, washes her hands and THEN runs to tell me. It's crazy!
So part of me thinks that it's all about her being ready. And just like w/ daytime PT, one day she'll just be ready for night-time PT and will just do it on her own... Wishful thinking maybe?

We just bit the bullet and put him in underwear at night. He was still soaking his diaper. But the same thing happened when we were day training too. He'd go on the potty every time, but would still wet his diapers. So we just took the diapers off and let him have a few accidents and he figured it out. I think he's doing the same thing at night, not holding it because he knows he doesn't have to.
We went on vacay a few weeks ago and he woke up dry in his diaper, I guess b/c we were in a different place and he was being more careful (he never has accidents in public or other people's houses). So I knew he could do it, he just wasn't.
Last night was the first night in underwear. He got milk with dinner, about 6:30, and nothing else before bedtime at 8. He peed right before we went to bed, and then called me about 30 mins later and said he had to pee again. I just reminded him to let me know if he woke up and needed to go. He woke around 5 this morning, but just wanted to be covered back up, didn't want to pee. He was dry when he got up at 7.
