How long did your DC use their bouncy seats and bumbos?

We rarely use either anymore and I think they are ready to be retired, but I can't really believe it. Now that the boys are pretty steady sitting on their own we never use the Bumbos anymore. Is there a future use for them? Does this mean my babies are growing up already?

We were out of these pretty fast, too. They would only stay in them for a minute or two one they were able to sit on their own.

Mine never liked the bouncy seats, but loved the Bumbos. We used them to about 6 months also, once I saw DS throwing himself out of it, they got put up. I never saw another use for them, so I eventually sold them on CL.

The bouncers were used for about 5 months--they kept trying to wriggle out (even though they were buckled in) and didn't like them anymore.

The bumbos were used until about 6 months. They got big enough to almost be "stuck" in the leg holes and they enjoyed sitting up on their own more.

I never used mine in the bath tub but I've heard that the bumbos are useful for bathing 2 at once.

bouncies regularly til maybe 5-6 months and after that to feed once in awhile til they were good enough at rolling that they could twist over & looked like they'd topple...

mine were never much into bumbos, our 2nd one never came out of the box. but i am intrigued by the double bathing idea... although DS would figure a way out of it for sure, his baths arent too long anymore since he just wants to keep standing up.

my girls used their bouncy seats for a long time...til 8-9 months...MIlina was still actually napping in hers until 10-11 months...and now that you mention them I wonder where they are since the sitter had them at her house...hmmmm....

This re: the Bumbo. They still will hang out in bouncy seats, but get bored quickly. I think we're almost done with them too.

My babies never cared for the bouncy seats. They're still using the Bumbos, they JUST learned how to sit on their own, and I use them instead of a high chair.

aww, yup they grow up so fast. we were about done w/bouncy by 7mos and mine never got into the bumbos...would just strain to get out.

yours are clearly very grown up - ready for competitive martial arts! and that is the cutest pic... just want to squish those tummies!
